We are interested in learning about you, your goals, and your authentic voice through these essay prompts. While the Fellowship does not prohibit use of AI in preparing responses, we strongly encourage you to ensure the materials you submit reflect your experiences and perspectives. Obvious use of AI that is not tailored to your specific writing voice and experiences is discouraged. As we evaluate a large number of applications, responses that appear generic or heavily AI-generated may prevent reviewers from accurately assessing your application.

The Mason Gibbs Plaintiffs’ Pathway Fellowship is a nationwide program with partner law firms located across the country that specialize in a variety of practice areas. While the Fellowship may consider a candidate’s preferences during the selection process, it cannot guarantee that a candidate will receive an offer from a firm in their preferred region or specializing in their preferred practice area.

Your responses to these questions below will not impact your chances of being selected for the program. Instead, the Fellowship will use this information to strengthen the program and explore partnerships with additional firms that align with participants’ interests.

To provide a high-quality, immersive experience, the Fellowship may require that fellows be in office. Therefore, fellows might need to relocate to accept their fellowship offer.
